We've got another set of sprites thanks to a commission by FrozenNorseman!
First up are some NPCs wearing some solid metal armor. If leather armor just isn't cutting it when it comes to keeping towns safe, then these guys are your best bet!

Thanks to Silenity over of the RMWeb, we've got a new addition to Hines sprites: Running templates!
Now it's much easier to show when your hero's in a rush, and with the use of plugins you can even have it switch when the player is dashing!
My Hine sprites are big and beautiful, but there is a bit of a problem when you try to make a cavalry with them... The default horse from MV is just too small! Even the larger horses made by awesome people like Avery are tiny compared to my Hine sprites, so I knew I'd have to make them at some point. Luckily the amazing FrozenNorseman wanted the same thing, so he commissioned a Hine horse sprite! I ended up feeling pretty inspired, so I made quite a few markings that I can mix and match (I'll probably release those later). Now, on to the sprites!
Today we've got a special resource, commissioned by FrozenNorseman over on RMWeb: village guards! These guys are wearing leather armor since it's cheaper than metal but still keeps them safe and carry spears to deal with any trouble makers from a distance! So now your villages can be kept safe from any bandits or minor monsters. So, what other armor and weapons would you like to see Hine sprites wield?
Happy game making! It's a new year, so it's time for some new Hine Sprites! Today we have some female villagers to help populate your world. Now you don't need to have only men in your towns! Happy game making!
Hey folks, do you like it when sprites just stand totally still when they're having conversations? No? Then do you like it when they can show when they agree or disagree with something without having to have a message saying that? Yes? That means today's release is for you! I've been busy getting some resources ready for a spooky ReStaff release, but I did put together some behaviors for Hine sprites: nodding and shaking heads! Now you can have characters that don't just say if they agree with something, but also show it!
We've got another addition to the Hine templates today: large humans! Not everyone is in the best of shape in a game world, so it makes sense to have some templates that suit them as well! Now you can have have some well-fed cityfolk, or even a retired adventurer who is enjoying his calm life to the fullest! Happy game making!
I've got a new generator part for everyone today: the male SWAT clothing! Commissioned by The Stranger, this matches the default swat sprite so now you can make a team of well-armored modern men! I've also got another addition to Hine Sprites: Elves! With their pointy ears and long lifespans, elves are common for any fantasy world so now you too can have this race in your games that use Hine Sprites! We've got the first set of NPCs for the Hine series today: male humans! These guys are all dressed and ready to reside in a nice, quiet village. They're hardy folk, and tend to dress in the common blues and greens of the region. Decorative sashes are pretty common as well, a style taken from the flowing clothes elves are often seen in.
With the schedule change of my battlers giving me some more free time, here's the first creation that's come of it: the Hine Sprite Series! (The name's still a work-in-progress, if you have a better suggestion please tell me.) These taller sprite bases are meant to give everyone even more options when it comes to sprites for your games!
We're starting with some templates for them, human adults, teens and even a kid base! |
What's new? Here's where you can find my pieces, and my updates to the generator packs. Archives
